Kathryn Hylton

Kathryn Hylton is a first-year doctoral student in choral conducting, studying under Edward Maclary. She conducts the UMD Treble Choir and organizes and assists with the Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols. Prior to starting her work at the University of Maryland, Hylton was Director of Music at Holy Family Catholic Community in Middletown, MD, where she conducted the Adult, Youth, and Children's choirs, and led the Praise Band and instrumental program. She also taught middle school general music and choir at St. Thomas More Academy.
