For 22 years, cellist Eric Kutz returned to the Pritzker Pavilion to play a ten week season of world-class concerts with the Grant Park Orchestra. On July 17, he steps out alone to perform the soulful sounds of two of Bach’s Cello Suites virtually, including the popular First Suite. Written in the 1700s, the Suites continue to be some of the most frequently performed and recognizable solo compositions ever written for unaccompanied cello.
