SYMC - Faculty
We are excited that we will again have both University of Maryland faculty members and outstanding K-12 teachers will join us for the 2012 camp. Camp director Dr. Mike Hewitt will oversee and conduct the bands along with Mr. Paul Hatton (Thomas Pullen K-8 Performing Arts School) and Ms. Lori Reichl (Oakland Mills Middle School). UMD faculty member Dr. Ken Elpus returns as our vocal director while Dr. Janet Montgomery will supervise our elective classes. We are grateful and excited that Mr. Allen Leung (Centennial High School/Burleigh Manor Middle School) and Ms. Dana Shieh (Thomas Pullen K-8 Performing Arts School) will conduct the orchestra/s. Instrumental and elective class teachers will be announced soon. You'll be sure to see many faces from previous camps and a number of new ones.
