Undergraduate and graduate students, both new and returning, are considered for endowed awards within their program area. No separate application is required. Awards range in amount from $1,000 to $15,000 per year. Some awards are made on an annual basis, while others are made for the length of the student's tenure.

Undergraduate
- Agnes White Bailey Cello Scholarship for an undergraduate cello student
- Stanford Berman Scholarship for a voice or piano student
- Clifford Arnold Bernsen Scholarship for an upper-level undergraduate piano or strings student
- Dorothée Einstein Krahn Scholarship in memory of Rosa and Albert Einstein, for an outstanding undergraduate strings student
- Susan E. Greenleaf Scholarship open to all music students
- Dr. Edward Adelson Scholarship for an undergraduate strings student
- Ruth Schell Overholser Undergraduate Scholarship for an undergraduate music education student
- Presser Foundation Scholarship for an outstanding junior music major
- Board of Visitors Endowment for outstanding music students
- John Wakefield Award for a band student enrolled in the School of Music
- Daniel L. Pomeroy Scholarship Fund for outstanding work in eighteenth-century music
- Carolyn and Carl Fichtel Scholarship for an undergraduate music student
- Keith Steyer Award for an undergraduate clarinet, viola, or composition major
Graduate
- Ruth Schell Overholser Graduate Scholarship for a graduate voice student
- Blanche K. Nisenfeld Fund for a graduate voice student
- Voice/Opera Division Scholarship for graduate voice students
- Robert McCoy Fund for graduate collaborative piano students
