Scholarships and financial aid provide critical assistance to student musicians. The UMD School of Music offers numerous awards for our most competitive undergraduate and graduate students, seeking additional sources of aid each year through the generosity of donors and advocates.

Undergraduate Aid

Endowed Scholarships

Undergraduate and graduate students, both new and returning, are considered for endowed awards within their program area. No separate application is required. Awards range in amount from $1,000 to $15,000 per year. Some awards are made on an annual basis, while others are made for the length of the student's tenure.
