Maestro Christoph Eschenbach conducted a special session with the University of Maryland Symphony Orchestra in March, 2011. He rehearsed Brahms' Symphony No. 3, which the orchestra was preparing for a concert. Eschenbach is the Music Director of the National Symphony Orchestra in nearby Washington, D.C. The next day he conducted a double rehearsal of Messiaen's Turangalila Symphony with the NSO. The Maestro is quite generous with his time and energy!

Left to right in the bass section: Stefan Zavalin, Andrew Coccoli, David George, Cassidy Morgan, Lindsay Lam (obstructed), James Hein, George Freeman.
