The focus of this viola recital is on female composers of the 20th and 21st centuries. This concert will feature female composers from the United States, including Jennifer Higdon, Lillian Fuchs, Margaret Brouwer and Nokuthula Endo Ngwenyama. This performance aims to not only expand the awareness of the standard repertoire for the viola but also to inform more listeners and musicians about the excellent works created for this instrument by female composers.
