The flute seamlessly shifts through musical genres like rock, hiphop, and EDM, illustrating endless technical and sonic capabilities. Its appearances in movies, TV, and media have proven that this instrument is here to stay. This lecture will explore noteworthy flute moments along the pop culture timeline to answer the question, "why add flute to that?"
