Matthew Ober is a junior at the University of Maryland pursuing a double degree in Music Performance and Information Science. For his junior recital, Ober will perform a program of works for solo flute, including Three Preludes for Unaccompanied Flute op.15 by Robert Muczynski, Trois pièces by Pierre-Octave Ferroud, Les Folies d'Espagne by Marin Marais, and Danza de la Mariposa by Valerie Coleman. Ober is a student of Dr. Sarah Frisof.
