Interns at the National Orchestral Institute + Festival (NOI+F) assist with festival operations and administration to gain valuable artistic and administrative work experience in one of four areas: orchestra librarianship, stage/personnel management, community engagement, and marketing/social media. Interns will be selected to work in one of these primary focus areas and will be responsible for meeting established deadlines. Additional work experiences outside of these primary areas may be assigned. Interns are responsible for submitting a weekly log journal of their experiences and a reflection paper at the end of the internship. The internship runs May 30-July 7, 2017.
Selected students may elect to receive 3-credits for the internship by enrolling in MUSC388 during Summer Session I. This is a 135 hour internship.
Interested students should submit their resume and a brief letter explaining their interest in the internship to Richard Scerbo, Director, National Orchestral Institute + Festival, firstname.lastname@example.org by May 1, 2017. All interns must have a valid driver’s license. Interns will receive a $400 stipend to assist with expenses.
