Join us for this series of recitals and masterclasses featuring UMD School of Music faculty and special guest artists. All events are free of charge and take place in Gildenhorn Recital Hall at The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center.

Formed at The Juilliard School in 1996 and named after Lady Murasaki, the author of the world’s first novel, this piano and cello duo performs a repertoire including three commissioned works by Jocelyn Hagen, Robert Pound, and Jerry Owen along with Sergei Rachmaninoff's Cello Sonata.
