UMSO Collaboration Earns Praise

Three unconventional performances of John Adams's "Chairman Dances" (October 27, November 2 & 3) recently brought together the UM Symphony Orchestra and the renowned Liz Lerman Dance Exchange. Reimagined and retitled as "Man/Chair Dances," this collaborative work for orchestra and dancers was performed in an October concert of the UMSO, and repeated in two November recitals celebrating the 30th anniversary of the acclaimed Dance Exchange.
