Barbara Haggh-Huglo Awarded GRB Semester Grant

Barbara Haggh-Huglo, Professor of Musicology, was awarded a UM General Research Board (GRB) semester grant to continue her research into the origin of neumes, which are the earliest Western musical signs, dating from the 9th century, that indicate pitch and manner of performance.
