Chris Gekker Awarded CAPA Grant

Chris Gekker, Associate Professor of Trumpet, has been awarded a Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) grant for summer 2006 to continue a recording project with Albany Records. The summer CAPA stipend will support Gekker's work on a new recording for the label featuring contemporary works that have been written especially for Gekker by American Composers.
