Lori DeBoy serves as the Associate Director for Admissions and Enrollment Management at the University of Maryland School of Music. Her background in music includes a Performance Diploma in Piano Studies from the Preparatory Department of The Peabody Conservatory, and private study in organ. She has held positions as Organist/Director of Music at numerous churches in the greater Baltimore-Annapolis region for over thirty years.
In 1978 she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and in 1980, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education from the University of Maryland, College Park. She has been employed in the Personnel and Employee Relations division at Georgetown University, and has also taught Social Studies in the Prince George’s County Maryland Public School System. In 2000, Lori DeBoy earned her Master of Arts degree in Education Policy with an emphasis in Higher Education Administration from the University of Maryland, College Park. She has worked for the University of Maryland School of Music since 1991.
