The Aeolus Quartet, a School of Music Graduate Fellowship Chamber Ensemble, performs three German masterworks in their second recital appearance at the University of Maryland.

  • Mozart Quartet K. 465 in C major, "Dissonance"
  • Beethoven Quartet Op. 95 in F minor, "Serioso"
  • Brahms Quartet Op. 51, No. 1 in C minor

The Quartet's 2011-2012 season includes a three-week residency at the ScotiaBank Northern Lights Festival in Mexico and performances across the US, having recently returned from a concert tour of major cities in China. The Quartet has collaborated on stage with such artists as Eugenia Zukerman, Brian Lewis, DaXun Zhang, Zuill Bailey, Peter Salaff, and the MirĂ³ Quartet.
