Wind & Percussion Division

The Wind & Percussion Division encompasses woodwinds, brass and percussion, and is one of the largest divisions of the UMD School of Music.

The W & P Division offers undergraduate and graduate study culminating in the BA, BM, MM, and DMA degrees in performance. The division is also home to the School's Jazz Studies program, which offers BA and MM degrees in jazz.

The division also oversees the UMD Bands collective, which comprises numerous large and small concert ensembles and athletic bands.
