En A Kim (DMA) won second place in the 2013 Bradshaw and Buono International Piano Competition.
Jasmin Lee (DMA) was named Southern Division winner in the 2012 MTNA Young Artist Competition.
Min-kyung Choi (DMA 2005) was the Grand Prize winner of the 2004 Ibla International Piano Competition in Italy while still a student. She also won the UM School of Music Concerto Competition. Upon returning to Korea after graduation she was named the winner in the New Musicians category of the 2005 Korean Music Award presented by the Music Association of Korea, the oldest and largest music organization in that country. She has continued to give recitals and to play concertos with orchestras.
Benjamin Harding (DMA 2013) is Associate Professor of Piano at Cairn University in Philadelphia.
Wei-Der Huang (DMA 2001) is a member of the piano faculty at Howard Community College (Columbia, MD) where she is also Coordinator of the HCC Guest Artist Series and Marketing Associate of the HCC Concert Series. She is also the organist and music director at the Greenbelt Community Church. For twelve years she has concertized with Hsien-Ann Meng as the Octtava Piano Duo. In 2012 the Duo toured Taiwan where they gave concerts in the National Recital Hall in Taipei and at the Chang Jung Christian University in Tainan. Laurie Hudicek (DMA 2002) recorded both books of George Crumb’s Makrokosmos for the Furious Artisans label in 2002, released with this endorsement from the composer: “It makes composing seem worthwhile when one’s music is so effectively and sensitively interpreted.”
Thomas Hunter (MM 2012) was accepted into the Artist Diploma program at the Royal College of Music in London, to begin in Fall 2013)
Young Ji Kim (DMA 2013), in addition to completing her solo DMA at Maryland also earned her MM in Collaborative Piano at Juilliard (May 2012). She worked as staff pianist at Juilliard in 2012-2013. Active as a collaborative pianist, she subs regularly as a celesta player with the National Philharmonic Orchestra in Washington, DC.
Heloisa Maibrada De Almeida (DMA 2007) is Professor of Piano at the Federal University of Pernambuco, in Recife, Brazil.
Hsien-Ann Meng (DMA 2001) is Chair of the Music Department at Howard Community College (Columbia, MD), where she is also Assistant Professor and Director of the HCC Music Concert Series and The Music Institute. Shelby Sender (DMA 2013) is one of three pianists featured on the Centaur CD recording Walter Gieseking: The Rediscovered Compositions. In March 2012 she performed the Berg Sonata in Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall on a concert sponsored by the Adamant Music School. In Summer 2013 she will work as staff pianist at the Crescendo Summer Institute music festival in Hungary.
Hsiu-Hui Wang (DMA 1999) has been performing for nineteen years as the founding pianist of the Gemini Piano Trio. In 2010 the Trio played its New York debut in Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall, and more recently made its Taipei debut in the National Concert Hall while on a tour of Taiwan. The have recorded on Arabesque Records and Ulrich Records. Dr. Wang is a member of the piano faculties of Goucher College (Baltimore, MD) and Howard Community College (Columbia, MD). She co-founded the Gemini Piano Trio Chamber Music Workshop and has been its artistic director for the past eight years. Beginning in Fall 2013 she will be the director of the Chamber Music Seminar Program at Goucher College.
Annalee Whitehead (DMA 2013) has performed in Mexico and Kenya during her husband's tours of duty with the US Foreign Service in those countries.
An International Steinway Artist, Robert Henry (DMA 2007) is the Gold Medalist in the New Orleans, Alfred Barilli, Washington, Missouri Southern and Laureate of Seilier International Piano Competitions. He has collaborated with such ensembles as the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Louisiana Philharmonic, Atlanta Boy Choir. As a recitalist, Henry has peformed around the world at venues including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Wigmore Hall, St. James Church, Wells Cathedral, Strathmore Hall and the Phillips Collection.

James DeWire (DMA 2007) is on the piano faculty at Frostburg State University, MD
Daria Scarano (DMA 2011) won Silver Medal at the International Emil Gilels Competition, and performs regularly as a recitalist and with orchestras in the US and abroad. Scarano's debut all-Liszt CD was released on Centaur Records in 2012 and received a Global Music Award of Excellence in 2013.

Alexander Timofeev (DMA 2012) is currently on the adjunct faculty at Rowan University in New Jersey. He is the founder of the International Society of Pianists and Composers, a non-profit organization that promotes contemporary piano music.

Alexi Gulenco (DMA 2008) is on the piano faculty at McMaster University and Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts in Canada.
Anastasia Voltchock (DMA 2004) recently appeared as a soloist with Valery Gergiev and the Mariinsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra in St. Petersburg; Mario Venzago and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra; and Mikhail Pletnev and the Bamberger Symphoniker. As a recitalist, she has performed at Lincoln Center, Tonhalle Zurich, Santa Cecilia in Rome and Victoria Hall in Geneva. She was a guest artist at the Moscow Easter Festival, La Roque d'Antheron Piano Festival in France and the Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli Piano Festival in Italy. Voltchock's 2013-2014 schedule includes concerto, chamber music, and solo performances in Switzerland and Germany.
