The Bachelor of Arts degree is designed for qualified undergraduate students whose interests include a broader liberal arts experience or who have an interest in double majoring in both music and another subject.

The Bachelor of Music degree is designed for qualified undergraduate students with extensive pre-college training and potential for successful careers in professional music.

The Bachelor of Music Education degree is designed for qualified undergraduate students with potential for successful careers in teaching music in the K-12 school system.

The Master of Arts degree is designed for qualified graduate students with a bachelor in music seeking a professional academic degree in music that culminates with a final thesis.

The Master of Music degree is designed for qualified graduate students with a bachelor in music seeking a professional degree in performance, composition, or music education that culminates with a final project.

The Doctor of Musical Arts degree is designed for qualified graduate students with a masters in music seeking a professional degree in performance, or composition that culminates with a final project (performance/dissertation).

The Doctor of Philosophy degree is designed for qualified graduate students with a masters in music seeking a professional academic degree in music that culminates with a final dissertation defense.
